INSPIRATION AND MY STORY

My commitment was to restore the old vineyards to make them in harmony with the past and the present. Each of my wine shares a simple principle unchanged over time: the love for its wonderful land of origin.

A family farming culture dating back more than 200 years, which has been able to face with courage the challenges and adversities of the past by building a future.

My grandmother, Amabile Visconti, married Fornarino Bendinelli in 1916 and together they contributed to the growth of their property and their family. They gave birth to Giovanna, my mother, and Loredana who dedicated her entire life to her parent’s business.

A GREAT WINE IS LIKE A RACEHORSE, IN ORDER TO BECOME A WINNER IT NEEDS CHARACTER AND TIME.

Before starting my adventure with wine, I was a trainer of race horses.

The two worlds are very similar, a horse in order to win must be in good health and needs a lot of attention just like a vineyard, which cannot produce unique wines if it is not constantly cared for.

A PROJECT BORN
FROM A GREAT FRIENDSHIP

Many years ago I had the pleasure of meeting the Marquis Nicolò Incisa, an extraordinary man who taught me many things. I collaborated with him in training his horses and he introduced me to Dr. Giacomo Tachis, one of the greats of enology, a man of few words and without compromises.

“GREAT WINES ARE MADE IN THE VINEYARDS, NOT IN THE CELLAR”.
(Giacomo Tachis)

The soil needs more than sun and rain.

It needs to be surrounded by harmony.
